DREAMS...

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and
live out the true meaning of its creed; "We hold these
truths to be self - evident: that all men are created equal."
... son's of former slave owner's will be able to sit down
together at a table of brotherhood.
Dreams are more than night things, in fact not too much
about closing your eyes, it's more of imagination.
It is the painting/ drawing of picture, a preferred state you
want to have/be.
As a child it was so easy to fantasise,  imagined all things
without hindrances.
Now we live by the reality around our life.
Dreams do come true, although it may take time.
Now I have a device I so much love, someone had
already imagined it long before I acquired it, in fact
I never knew I needed it.
With my eyes movement I can control the device, head
movement the device responds, in fact voice recognition
is available, what a creative one.
What is your dream?
I have a BIG dream.
Your life is too small to be the essence of your existence.
Live your life beyond yourself.

DREAMS THAT CHANGED

This piece is courtesy of a friend (Esther), I've been wanting to
write about dreams... i hope to be back soon.

When i was seven i had a dream to become a soldier,
it was because of a movie i saw where the soldier was
well celebrated when he died.
This changed because after much thought i didn't want
to die in battle.

I moved from there to having dreams of being the next superwoman,
i'll not only save Nigeria, I’ll save the world.
All this while i knew this was impossible, because, i was no astrologist,
who would receive extra-ordinary powers after my space-craft crashes.
This changed because of the possibilities.

As i matured i thought about love and how sweet it was,
so i decided to be best friends with a guy who would love me,
we would do things together and travel the world on adventures,
we would have a CODE language that we could use when trouble knocks.
This too changed as all my best male friends were always asking out other
girls.....i probably shouldn't let the dream go.

Now i'm older and wiser and still learning,
i decided to create a world for myself, helping people and myself.
Creating solutions to problems and having lots of adventure and money,
This is my truest dream because it is happening,
Dreams inside of dreams that are coming to reality.

Love Walk...

I don’t know why I keep treading this particular
path for a while now – The Love talk
May be it’s because that’s what our life is
built on and seriously that’s life founding block.
A man asked Jesus what the greatest commandment is,
Love God and every other person,
it’s a vertical and horizontal dimension, not perpendicular in nature.
Life minus love equals zero, life is all about love.
Love involves a peculiar unfathomable combination
of understanding and misunderstanding 1
No matter what I say, what I believe and
what I do I’m bankrupt without love 2
It’s not what you do, but how much love you put into it that matters 3
Our love should not be just words and talk; it must be true love,
which shows itself in action.
The most desired gifts of love is focused attention – your TIME,
you’re making sacrifice and it’s the essence of love.
Love means giving up - Sacrifice

Value

A salt does not give credit to itself, it’s of inestimable value. What value do you add? Are you a plus/minus to your world?A woman once mistakes a bottle of sugar for salt, imagine that!Ironically the soup will be sweet abi…We are vessels, we affect the lives around us positively/negatively.Out of that vessel must flow a fountain of love, help, patriotism, optimism… name it.If you don’t increase, there is no two way to it you are decreasing. It does not matter how small your seed is, what matters is the size of the dream in your seed.Letting Off Very Easily (LOVE) is a fundamental point you have to note.It endures, kind, not envious, not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, beareth all things, believeth all things….Add value all the time where ever you find yourself at all the time, without sentiments.Your worth is determined by your value.

What is LOVE?

Reading from one of my favourite tweet on LOVE,
I asked myself what is LOVE?
reading down the line I have an explicit answer.
Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn't want what it doesn't have. Love doesn't strut,
Doesn't have a swelled head, Doesn't force itself on others,
Isn't always "me first," Doesn't fly off the handle,
Doesn't keep score of the sins of others,
Doesn't revel when others grovel, Takes pleasure in the
flowering of truth, Puts up with anything, Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best, Never looks back, But keeps going to the end.
Love never dies.
Hmmm... therefore emotion/feelings is not Love, though it could be a sort of measurement in it.
Emotion is a thermometer, a barometer, a fuel and a medium of expression of feelings
We cannot confuse the thermometer with temperature, and if thermometer is not temperature, emotion cannot be LOVE

I Love You

I Love you…
When someone loves you, how does it make you feel?
Think about it for a moment. Do you feel warm inside,
like everything is going to be ok?
Love really is the most important thing in life.
I love you this much! I’d rather die than live without you.
I can hear it clearly within me, more than whispering
Just wonder why, but its not as a result of what I have done or
Fail to do for Him.
Inscribed in the palm of his hand, just like a tattoo
So precious as the apple of his eye
Fairfully and wonderfully made
Worth more than bird of the air to him
So passionate about me, that he had pain for my gain,
Had trouble for my double
How can I ever repay you for this.
The best thing to do to feel truly loved is to find the source of love.
For example, if you were dying of thirst,
you should find the source of water -- like a faucet or spring. God is the source of love.

JULY 27

Radio wavelength is every where in other to
connect you must be on the right frequency.
Been on the right frequency is good but not good enough
as following instructions by been obedient to the leading
of the messages received.
What a long night with such a snooze, programmed mind

set for a meeting latest 7am.
Been last Saturday of the month sanitation holds (in most
states in my country - Nigeria),
but I need not tell you I forgot, woke up 10mins to 7am,
didn't even brush my teeth reach out for the car key in a
hurry for 15minutes drive to meeting, tune in to the right
frequency but didn't stay long, before I went off I heard
"stay back" mhen!
I overrule the instruction o, paying hard for it though...
Like to know how it goes?
Wrote this July 30... Still paying for not going by instruction.

VISION

In the middle of a very tasking day Mr Adeniyi send
in this message on the group chat there it goes,
I have a story that requires your sincere answer.
The story:  there were 3 men, one with the power of vision,
another with the power to port i.e. to disappear from a place
and appear in another place and the third with gift of healing.
One day the man with the power of vision saw the kings daughter
seriously sick to the point of death and told his other two friends
and they decided that the one with the power to disappear and
appear should carry both of them to the kings daughter so that
the one with healing power can heal her and that was what happened.
Now it’s time for reward and the reward is that one of them will marry
the king’s daughter. So who do you think is fit for the reward among the three?
What a story.
A particular response caught my attention and that’s why you are reading this
“The man with vision should marry the princess, the others helped him fulfill his vision”

GROWTH

Picked up my pen to share with you before bed time,
remembered my integrated science class way back in secondary school.
Learnt characteristics of living thing   MR NIGER-
Movement, Respiration, Nutrition, Irritability, Growth,
Excretion, Reproduction, and later on D- Death was added.
We had germination of seed practical – maize precisely,
after 2/3 days of planting comes germination – Growth
the plumule   and the radical – growth is in process.
With Growth comes responsibility, its a process to a purpose.
That you bear fruit and your fruit may abound.
A plant with no growth talk less fruit is useless.
Be responsible, Response-ability i.e. ability to respond.
The whole world is waiting for your manifestation – stand up

A COMMON BLUEPRINT

Imagine the frustration of two carpenters
trying to build a house with two different sets of plans.
With conflicting designs, conflicting dimensions and
conflicting materials, the effort would be doomed.
Even a casual observer would see the futility of the project.
“You can’t build a house from different blueprints,” he’d say. “It won’t work!”
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge Him and he shall direct your paths

The BIG picture

I have actually been wanting to write to you friends about my thoughts lately,
but couldn't just put them together...
The puzzle of thoughts scattered i tell you.
The good news is this - i have the BIG picture i can look unto in other to fix
the jigsaw- lucky me isn't it.
No more worry, no hassles, no struggling...
You can also cross over to the brighter side too.
With the BIG picture in sight.
He makes everything beautiful, therefore all will sure work together for your good.
Be calm.

REFLECTIONS (My Birthday Note)

Like an open book you watched me grow from conception to birth;
all the stages of my life were spread out before you,
the days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day.
You know me inside and out. You know every bone in my body;
you know exactly how i was made, bit by bit,
how i was sculpted from nothing into something.
I thank you, High GOD - You've been breath taking.

CONSTANT VARIABLE...

Here goes the mathematics of life,
whatever has a beginning will surely has an end.
therefore
this isn't to scare you at all.
Hmm the very first time i knew about this
mhennnn i dread entering the house
at night especially when there's no light .
Just one of those things you know *winks*
where we gonna surface when the bucket
is kicked matters ???
Eternity is real, its either you are here or there
no fence or middle stand.
It isn't about good work at all...
for it is by grace that we are saved.

Caution...

Its been ages seriously that i have intentionally on my own turn on the T.V,
had to go through series of channels before settling down for the Doctors show.
It turns out to be a show of people that were said to have cheated death...
Am too sure of one thing, you can't die before your death.
Its not about living long but living full
(... i think i'll Love to write more on that very soon).
Dallas and Jamie got attracted to one another despite the dis-figuration
from electrical burns on Dallas face that resulted in face transplant and
Jamie's fire burn that caught up 80% of her body
( as a result of high speed and texting on wheel).
There and then i promised myself not to text or ping and always be on my
Bluetooth hands-free while driving.
Prevention they say is better than cure - Be wise

THE ROSE - JIM ROHN

Lifestyle is style over amount. And style is an art—the art of living. You can’t buy style with money. You can’t buy good taste with money. You can only buy more with money. Lifestyle is culture—the appreciation of good music, dance, art, sculpture, literature, plays and the art of living well. It’s a taste for the fine, the unique, the beautiful.Lifestyle also means rewarding excellence wherever you find it by not taking the small things of life for granted. On Valentine’s Day, I wanted to illustrate this with a personal anecdote:Many years ago my lady friend and I were on a trip to Carmel, California, for some shopping and exploring. On the way we stopped at a service station. As soon as we parked our car in front of the pumps, a young man, about eighteen or nineteen, came bouncing out to the car and with a big smile said, “Can I help you?”“Yes,” I answered, “A full tank of gas, please.” I wasn’t prepared for what followed. In this day and age of self-service and deteriorating customer treatment, this young man checked every tire, washed every window—even the sunroof—singing and whistling the whole time. We couldn’t believe both the quality of service and his upbeat attitude about his work. When he brought the bill, I said to the young man, “Hey, you really have taken good care of us. I appreciate it.”He replied, “I really enjoy working. It’s fun for me and I get to meet nice people like you.”This kid was really something!I said, “We’re on our way to Carmel and we want to get some milkshakes. Can you tell us where we can find the nearest Baskin-Robbins?”“Baskin-Robbins is just a few blocks away,” he said as he gave us exact directions. Then he added, “Don’t park out front—park around to the side so your car won’t get sideswiped.”What a kid!As we got to the ice cream store we ordered milkshakes, except that instead of two, we ordered three. Then we drove back to the station. Our young friend dashed out to greet us. “Hey, I see you got your milkshakes.”“Yes, and this one is for you!”His mouth fell open. “For me?”“Sure. With all the fantastic service you gave us, I couldn’t leave you out of the milkshake deal.”“Wow!” was his astonished reply. As we drove off I could see him in my rear-view mirror just standing there, grinning from ear to ear. Now, what did this little act of generosity cost me? Only about two dollars—you see, it’s not the money, it’s the style.Well, I must have been feeling especially creative that day, so upon our arrival in Carmel I drove directly to a flower shop. As we walked inside I said to the florist, “I need a long-stemmed rose for my lady to carry while we go shopping in Carmel.”The florist, a rather unromantic type, replied, “We sell them by the dozen.”“I don’t need a dozen,” I said, “just one.”“Well,” he replied haughtily, “it will cost you two dollars.”“Wonderful,” I exclaimed. “There’s nothing worse than a cheap rose.”Selecting the rose with some deliberation, I handed it to my friend. She was so impressed! And the cost? Two dollars. Just two dollars. A bit later she looked up and said, “Jim, I must be the only woman in Carmel today carrying a rose.” And I believe she probably was.

WHO AM I - part 2

I am not my body, and my body does not make me.
My person is not defined by my apparel, and my apparel
does not make me.
I am not the container but the content.
My life isn’t defined by what surrounds me, but what’s inside of me.
My spirit is me and my spirit is a share from God.

AUTHOR OF OUR SCRIPT

One of our persistent weaknesses is that we want to author our own play,
the play of our life, in which we are the star, for which we would like to write the script.
We can pretty much do fine on our own for a while, and then when we encounter a problem too big for us, we holler for God to show up on "our" stage, on our cue.
Rather let's see ourselves as God's creation, placed here on earth for a mission, his mission.
We are in his play, and he will let you know the role he needs you to play for him.

FACE IS LIFE...

Almost a decade, I went into a store to buy a book that I can no longer remember the title. No matter how long, voluminous and numbers of books you might have read, there is onething that is too certain, you’ll lay hold on a sentence or a phrase that you might tend toregurgitate somehow. From this book came this sentence “face is life”Your face depicts a lot, that’s why some are nicked name as;smile, beautiful, smooth, good-look… name it.But can we ascertain the content via the container?
